FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's your typical lead time?+

Prototypes ship in 48 hours to 2 weeks depending on complexity. Production lead times average 3–6 weeks, with Kanban programs available for shorter intervals.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?+

No hard MOQ. We routinely produce prototype runs of 5–50 pieces and production runs from a few hundred to several million pieces per year.

Can you work from a sketch instead of CAD?+

Absolutely. Send a sketch, photo, or even a sample spring — our engineers will reverse-engineer the geometry and produce CAD for your approval.

Are you ITAR registered?+

Yes. Rockford Spring is ITAR-registered and routinely supports US aerospace and defense programs that require controlled-distribution components.
